Our Rail Smart Start Course can help you to get ahead in a range of careers across multiple industries in occupations like:
- Human Resources

- Project Delivery
It’s all of the career building resources cadets have access to, available online, with experienced mentor support.
Training is delivered 100% online, meaning you can work through the modules in your own time, within the 1 month access period.
Students will have three months of access to complete 10 modules, that’s approx 15 hours of self-paced training. It is the quickest and smartest way to kickstart your career in the rail industry.
First up: time. You need to put in the work to complete your course, and we’re here to help you every step of the way. It’s estimated you’ll need 15 hours to complete all 10 modules, you can set your own pace with 1-month access.
- To be 18 years or older
- Good computer skills including the ability to use office programs and navigate the internet
- Your own laptop or desktop computer with:
- Ability to add video streaming software (e.g. Zoom)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office or Google Office applications
- Access to view PDFs
- A stable internet connection
